The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat headed, today, to Saudi Arabia to discuss enhancing cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in ICTs.
During his visit, Talaat is due to meet Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah bin Amer Alswaha to follow up on the previous discussions that took place during Alswaha’s visit to Egypt in April. Alswaha’s visit aimed to enhance cooperation between the two countries, open new avenues of partnership in ICTs, develop this vital sector, and benefit from the latest technological applications and programs that aim to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), thus benefiting the citizens of both countries.
The areas of cooperation between the two countries include promoting capacity building, innovation and entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
