On the sideline of the congress, Helmy is to conduct a number of meetings with Arab and western government officials to exchange views. He will also meet with a number of international companies’ officials to discuss means of endorsing international investment in the local market, promoting Egypt Economic Development Conference(EEDC) to be held this March in Sharm el-Sheikh and opening new horizons of cooperation, thus serving Egypt’s ICT sector.

On the first day, Helmy will meet with Emirates Chief Executive Officer of Etisalat Group Ahmad Abdulkarim Julfar, GSMA Chief Regulatory Officer Tom Phillips, ICANN CEO Fadi Shehadi, as well as meeting with a number of executive officials in MasterCard.
