Under the auspices of the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talat, and the Head of the Egyptian State Lawsuits Authority (ESLA) Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq, a workshop on  institutional development and digital  transformation was organized for a number of counselors and staff of the State's Attorney's Club, within the framework of Digital Egypt vision.

The workshop is part of the efforts of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) to develop and build the digital capacities of ESLA counselors and personnel, qualifying the Authority for digital  transformation, in implementation of the protocol of cooperation between ESLA and MCIT.

The workshop aims to disseminate concepts of digital transformation and empowerment, and make optimal utilization of information and data. The workshop also reflects the state’s vision of achieving digital transformation, represented in building Digital Egypt. The vision does not only cover digitizing government services, but also includes governing and developing government activities, and managing policies with information, while providing all the pillars that support digital transformation.

Deputy ICT Minister for Institutional Development Ghada Labib, during the workshop, delivered a lecture on institutional development and digital transformation. Labib presented the most prominent concepts and indicators of Digital Egypt, the state's efforts in creating an interactive digital society and citizen, the digital transformation initiatives and projects for public institutions and services, and the programs for building and developing the digital capacities of the Egyptian citizen.

The workshop saw a strong audience engagement. It was joined by the General Supervisor of Financial and Administrative Affairs at ESLA Shehta Ghanem, ESLA Undersecretary and General Coordinator of the Center for Judicial Studies and Training Yousry Medany, and a number of officials and employees from the Institutional Development, Training and Human Capacity Building Sector at MCIT.
