ICT Minister Heads to Estonia to Discuss Cooperation in DX, Cybersecurity, AI

The Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat headed, today, to Tallinn, Estonia, heading a delegation of senior officials from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), on an official two-day visit.

Talaat will discuss strengthening cooperation between Egypt and Estonia in ICT fields and learning from the pioneering Estonian experience in digital transformation. Estonia is one of the world’s most developed digital societies and has extensive experience in e-government applications.

During his visit, the ICT Minister will meet with the Estonian Minister of Entrepreneurship and Information Technology Andres Sutt, government officials, and senior members of the Estonian parliament. They will discuss enhancing cooperation between the two countries in ICT fields, especially digital transformation, cybersecurity, Artificial Intelligence (AI), capacity building, innovation, and exchanging experiences in areas of common interest. Talaat will also meet with officials from Estonian IT companies to discuss investment opportunities in the Egyptian ICT sector.
