The two Post Offices were equipped with the latest technological systems and solutions to provide all financial, postal, and government services and Digital Egypt services to citizens.

During his tour, Talaat indicated that the Parliament Post Office was reopened after renovation in line with the nature of the historical area, which includes buildings that have unique architectural designs. Another modern Post Office was opened inside Mall of Arabia in 6th of October City to provide decent, modern, and automated services to citizens. The Parliament and Mall of Arabia Post Offices reflect authenticity and modernity, Talaat pointed out.

The ICT Minister explained that a Post development plan is being implemented through several pillars. The first is expanding the portfolio of services provided by Egypt Post based on three main categories: postal, financial such as microfinance, and Digital Egypt services. The services system is developed in terms of size, inclusiveness, and delivery methods.

The second pillar focuses on providing services in an automated and easy way to citizens, while the third pillar includes training Egypt Post’s employees on these modern services and automated delivery methods to ensure providing decent services to citizens, Talaat added. He highlighted the ongoing efforts of developing and opening Post Offices nationwide.

For his part, Farouk stated that the opening of the Parliament and Mall of Arabia Post Offices comes within the framework of implementing Egypt Post’s strategic plan. It includes revamping historic Post Offices and establishing new developed ones in busy areas such as clubs and malls to facilitate citizens’ access to services.

Farouk pointed out that the Parliament Post Office has been developed and equipped with the best modern technical solutions while preserving Egypt Post’s identity and the Office’s historical value.
Farouk clarified that the Mall of Arabia Post Office is an excellent addition to new Post Offices that target citizens in busy areas, enabling them to obtain services easily and quickly. The Office provides all services and has a smart dynamic design where eco-friendly and energy-saving systems and mechanisms are adopted.

Mall of Arabia Post Office features colors that reflect state-of-the-art design. It is equipped with the latest technological systems and smart solutions to create an ideal work environment and provide a unique experience for customers.
CEO of Marakez, owner and operator of Mall of Arabia, Basil Ramzy stated that his company is pleased to continue to implement full projects and reflect innovation and excellence by building more shopping malls as an all-in-one destination for families to shop, have fun, and do business.

This comes within the framework of Marakez’s policy of building smart and sustainable communities, Ramzy said, adding that the company values the ongoing partnership with Egypt Post to provide more services and fulfill citizens’ needs.
The Parliament Post Office spans 200 square meters and has 14 service delivery windows. Meanwhile, the Post Office in Mall of Arabia extends over 110 square meters and has five service delivery windows.
The two Post Offices provide Digital Egypt services and all types of financial, postal, and government services.
