The report was prepared by PwC. It explores why digital inclusion should be a priority for MENA leaders and discusses the challenges that they meet as they work to achieve that. According to the report, Egypt made great strides in the digital inclusion space. The country scored 60 in the Roland Berger digital inclusion index in 2020, becoming the 3rd top improver in Roland Berger rankings. This was a result of Egypt’s tireless efforts in improving accessibility, enhancing mobile data availability and coverage infrastructure, and enhancing affordability through market competition between telcos.
