Consumer Rights Protection

Under Law No. 10 of 2003, NTRA works to protect consumer rights by applying national policies to improve and make different ICT services available within a framework of free competition and transparency.

At regional and international levels, Egypt was one of the first countries to lay the foundations for the protection of the rights of ICT services users. In this regard, NTRA is adopting a strategy based on two main pillars; the first is setting rules to protect consume rights and provide high-quality affordable services. The second pillar is raising awareness of consumer rights and duties, helping consumers choose services and providers that best suit their needs.
