An interview with the ICT Minister Amr Talaat at the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2022 (PP-22) in Bucharest, Romania. Talaat discussed the Digital Egypt strategy and how MCIT works to fulfill by digitizing government services, upgrading the digital infrastructure, training young people in ICT specializations, and stimulating the growth of domestic electronics industry. The ICT Minister also highlighted Egypt’s role within the ITU as a key player and active member of the ITU Council.
